All The Time 03:52
Well hello there! Yes, it's me here; and I don't want to go there With that kind of atmosphere. You see, I'm just not good at saying things; at least not the right kind of things, and everything that that brings. So please help me to say what I mean to say So this awkward kind of silence can go away. I guess I'm just not so good at communicating, and telling you how much I love you, and that sort of thing. I wish that all of these fears would just disappear, and so untie me and let me be who I can be. So you could see that when I'm free I could take you in my arms And whisper in your ear how dear you are to me. So we could just be how we both want to be, All of the time, all of the time, just all the time...all the time.

Come on then, let's pull them all down! Throw them in the deep end and watch them drown! Point the finger and tell them that you told them so, Then watch them drop from up on high to oh so low. There is no rhyme and there is no reason But fools, it seems, are never out of season. And so the word spreads and the crowds appear Picking up their stones and shuffling near Pulling back their fists, ready to let them go Standing there with hands on hips waiting to enjoy the show. It seems we love so much to watch the big ones fall As if to say that they should never have been there at all Watch them all stagger and fall Watch them all stagger and fall. The next time you take aim at someone else out there Put yourself in their smart shoes and ask if it feels fair Because there is no rhyme, there is no reason And all of us are never out of season. So drop your hands, don't throw that stone For next time it might be you whose left out on your own. It could be you against the wall.

Words 04:49
All of this is only for the birds For at the end of each new day they're only words and don't really change a thing. They only bring a sense of having done something that might just make a little difference, but to who? For however much you write, read, recite, do these words make anything in the end? Words are something we should fear We should use them wisely and hold them dear Lest they run away from us And bring us all to dust. Do they bring something into being? Or do they just express an idea, a thing, A feeling that is there to leave or take? Ah! But feelings and ideas can make the Human World to shake! Words can destroy whole planets, bring societies to their knees, Change our lives and ruin us, if you please. It's ideas that put guns in hands, and feelings that create our promised lands. If words rule the World then words tell us what to do. Words bind us together...and isolate us too. Words are something we should fear We should use them wisely and hold them dear Lest they run away from us And bring us all to dust.. Lest they run away from us And bring us all wo dust.

Speak 03:18
Speak to me. Don't let it be. Don't let it grow wings of its own. Don't let it wander free. Don't let it pour more poison in the wound. Instead let's face it down, Let's water all the good things that surround This spot in time, and find the lines To put it in its place. This is not the face of you or me. It won't decide what we can be. \whether truth or lie, just let it float on by! Words, or just a look, When taken out of context can become a different book and take us off the path so brothers, sisters, forget what they are And the effort that it took. So let's prevent this thing Let's stay the way we are and keep on talking. There's something here that we should keep and the only way to do that is to speak. Communication is the glue for you and me It can define what we could be. So keep the truth and not the lies, Just let them float on by!

Move 05:37
I'm reaching for my smart phone at the start of each new day Feeling that I'm well connected and that I can have my say But all I ever see on there is what I'm being showed Decided by some distant piece of cold computer code, Are they just telling me what I want to hear? Or are they trying to change my mind and spread a little fear? I choose what I'm going to buy from the adds they send I still feel I have free will but let's not pretend That when our choices are based on what someone else has said That we're not letting someone else get inside our head. Are they just telling me what I want to hear? Or are they trying to change my mind and spread a little fear? Let's dance to the algorithms, fit into their groove. Dance to the algorithms, They can make you move! They'll polarize your politics, manipulate your mind Undermine democracy and try to make you blind. But let's dance to the algorithms, fit into their groove. Dance to the algorithms, They can make you move! Turn it on and get connected, hear from those who are like-minded, Swallow things that are one-sided, not know you're manipulated! Is this the Brave New World our kids are heading for: Where we're all fed on lies by those who seem above the Law? Where nothing gets discussed, no ideas get debated, Where everyone just shouts it out, and everyone's opinionated? Are they just telling me what I want to hear? Or are they trying to change my mind and spread a little fear? Let's dance to the algorithms, fit into their groove. Dance to the algorithms, They can make you move! They'll polarize your politics, manipulate your mind Undermine democracy and try to make you blind. But let's dance to the algorithms, fit into their groove. Dance to the algorithms, They can make you move! Turn it on and get connected, hear from those who are like-minded, Swallow things that are one-sided, not know you're manipulated! Come on! Move!

Half The Sky 03:40
You try so hard. You do what you can do. You work, you care. You struggle on through. But there'll always be more demands on you. It's not the lot of Woman to be there for the Man. It's up to every one of us to do what we can To break the chains, to clear up the mess, For the life of a woman should never be worth less than a man. (So here's something. Here's something you can do) Let's look ourselves right in the eye And ask why some maintain the old lie That his life is worth more and she should be kept on the floor. For women hold up half the sky, and this injustice needs to end now! (so stand up now and look around for half the sky lies on the ground. Just let it rise! Just let it rise!)

Don't speak without thinking, and don't think without listening first Don't speak without thinking, and don't think without listening first Everyone has a little bit of fear to spread around Division seems to be the name of the game. No-one has the time any more to seek the common round We'd rather point the finger, name and shame. But we don't really need to be angry And we don't need to force our point of view. There's no need to climb on a high horse Or make someone believe its true. Don't speak without thinking, and don't think without listening first Don't speak without thinking, and don't think without listening first Aaaaah......Aaaah, La la la la la. We don't need to know your opinion And you don't need to know who we support We don't need to know whose side you're on And you don't need to know our last resort. We all need to take the time to talk to each other Let's all agree to differ somehow It's fine if you don't agree with me at all But disagreement doesn't have to mean a row. Don't speak without thinking, and don't think without listening first Don't speak without thinking, and don't think without listening first Aaaah..... Aaaaah. La la la la la. I know that you can hear me and I can hear you too Just stay where you are and I will come to you. Yes, I will come to you. Don't speak without thinking and don't think without listening first.

Fake News 03:43
So tell me now. What really happened and how? Was it just like they said or was it lies we were fed? What single, utter, absolute truth can be put together From all these ashes? How do we make it better? How do I know what to believe any more? How do I know which "truth" to take When everything seems to be one great big conspiracy How do we tell what we're told is fake? Surely they all can't be out to get me. Pulling so much wool over my eyes. There's got to be some truth in there somewhere, Or are our lives just built on lies? When so many people are led astray Who cares what the truth is anyway? There's no such thing...as truth. Only mine!

Affirmation 03:56
I need it. I want it. Please give it to me I need it. I want it, Please give it to me. She's pouting at her mobile phone, tossing out her hair Feeling that she's not alone and hoping that they'll care. She's baring her soul for all to see, putting it out there to you, to me. Putting herself on the line time after time after time. (Affirmation.....) I need it. I want it. Please give it to me I need it. I want it, Please give it to me. (Affirmation.....) I'm asking others to decide my worth have I lost my way in here, has life become a curse? As everything I do or say needs to be approved by you I'm losing my control of everything that makes me who I am. But I need it, and I want it, so please give it to me. (Affirmation.....) Your likes are like a drug to me (Affirmation.....) They make me think that I can be (Affirmation.....) the sort of thing I want to be (Affirmation.....) although it means that I don't own me.

It's easy to say that you see, but can you ever really know what we have to go through every day? In a way there's no point in saying this, no point in this hug or that kiss, as every way you look at it, it always looks a bit shit. But here's something, here's something, here's something you might do: You can call me names, leave me out of all your games, stop me on the street each day, beat me up and walk away, not give me a decent job, break my windows with the mob, and then maintain there's nothing wrong, that it was my fault all along. But here's something, here's something, here's something you can do: Tell me that you see the problem, tell me that you're part of it, tell me that it shouldn't be like this, tell me that it's really shit. Then open up your arms, undo all the harm you've done, don't just say you got it wrong, that it was your fault all along, but do something about it now! Undo all the bad somehow! Just do something, do something, not nothing, do something about it now!

Your Guitar 04:21
When I heard how you were, and it was not O.K. I sent a load of messages to you in a conversation that was just one way But I should have known, that you were at home With better things to do. Like holding on tight to the people you love And wondering how when push came to shove that you would all cope. So here's my last note to you. I love this guitar that you told me to take. It reminds me of you every time that I pick on its strings. Oh, its the strangest of things but here I've a piece of you near, or that's how it seems, when I play this guitar. And now that you've gone we can't go for that drink Where we'd talk about music and you'd say what you think. There's a Matt-sized hole now in some people's lives So I'll say this one more time before I say goodbye: I love this guitar that you told me to take. It reminds me of you every time that I pick on its strings. Oh, its the strangest of things but here I've a piece of you near, or that's how it seems, when I play this guitar, when I play your guitar.

Fable 02:38
Lift your head up and you might see The complex collapsing World of Man trying to break free Of the myth that eats itself whenever it can Led by the hand to a new promised land By a Swedish girl called Greta. This is a Fable that may or may not come true And whether it does so in the end depends on me and you.
